Walking in a WInter Wonderland...well sortof...

So I realize that I have been slacking and haven't posted a blog on here for almost a month, oh no! lol...So I figured I should change that.
First of all, I will say that I am absolutely thrilled because we are getting out at noon!!! That is a wonderful start to the week :) It is supposed to be getting icy, cold, and possibly snowy. I am really hoping for snow. When it's this cold I like there to be a reason for it. Snow always looks so pretty so I am ready for it to come.
Moving on, this past month has been pretty busy. I've been doing different scholarship stuff, I went on a college visit, and lots of other things. I got to go bell-ringing with Bekah on Friday at Pamida, then I did a 30 hour fast with my youth group. We went bowling Friday night which was pretty fun. Then Saturday I went to a meeting for the retreat I am working in February. After that I went home and took a LONG nap. Then I went to the church and we had a ton of food since our fast was over, and after that I got to babysit.
Yesterday I went to church and just hung out with my family. Then last night we had the Children's Christmas play at church. I played piano before it started while everyone was sitting and waiting, and everything went pretty good.
This week should be pretty good. I don't really have any finals that should be too terrible. Then it's time for Christmas Break!!! I can't wait! It will be great to have two weeks off, plus I love Christmas. Also, we are going up north for a few days over break. I get to see my grandparents and a bunch of my friends.
Well, I suppose I am going to get off here now. Hope everyone has a good week :)

Oh Deer!!!

So, last night, I definitely hit a deer.
I was on my way to school to help set up for the NHS induction ceremony, and I was like 30 seconds away from school. All of a sudden there was something brown in front of me and Crash! I didn't even know what happened until it was over. I didn't have any time to slow down, so I hit the deer going like 55. It smashed in the front of my car and one of my headlights, and went up and over and smashed my windshield, and both airbags went off. Plus, apparently it hit something with the horn because the horn would NOT turn off. It was quite annoying.
So a guy ended up calling 911 and the ambulance came and they had to check me out. Thank goodness Becca drove by and had her mom pull over so she sat with me until my mom got there.
Finally after we finished things up with towing and the police I was actually able to make it to the ceremony in time. It went really well.
All I have to say is one of God's angels was definitely watching over me, because my parents were always telling me I needed to move my steering wheel up more because if the airbags went off they could hurt my ribs or stomach. And the crazy thing is yesterday morning on my way to school for some reason I decided to move it up. I just thought that was pretty crazy.
Anyways, thats about it. Just thought I should write about the fact that I no longer have a car :( haha....But it'll all be ok. Hope everyone has a great week, and watch out for deer!

Exhaustion......

So I am writing a new post because Mrs. S said to...although chances are I will not remember any of what I am writing right now.
I am sooo tired and out of it right now. I haven't gotten to bed until between eleven and twelve every night this week. And leave it to say I do not function well on a funky sleeping pattern. I like catching myself plenty of Z's.
So the reason for my lack of sleep would be the fall play, which is going really well. I am having lots of fun with it, and it hasn't been too stressful, just a bit at times. But I have tried to stay really organized so I can keep stuff going smoothly as much as I can.
The play is this weekend, and I am a bit nervous but very excited. The good side of being so busy worrying about stuff backstage is I don't even have time to think about getting nervous for my small speaking part, woohoo!
Well, I guess I am going to go. Hope everyone has a great week and weekend :)

My Fantabulous Weekend...

This weekend was definitely amazing.
I got to go up north to visit my grandparents and friends from my old school, and I hadn't been up there since May.
We got up there late Friday night, and just spent time talking with my grandparents.
Saturday, I got to sleep in for the first time on a Saturday since soccer ended. Then I woke up and worked on writing out some stuff for the fall play. When my mom got back from having breakfast with a friend, me, Mom, and Grandma went to Kokomo for the afternoon. We went to the Mall and I got some new clothes. Then we went out to eat at Panera Bread, the best place ever! We had a really fun time.
When we got back I started getting dressed for the party I was going to. My friend Bailey was having a Halloween Dance party that night, and I was going with my friends Suzie, Maggie, Megan, Claire, Jessica, Mandy, and Bethany, who I hadn't seen since Winter Formal at Maconaquah two years ago!!!
I went to Suzie's and helped her figure out a costume. Then Bethany came over and we all just hung out for a while. Then we headed over to Mandy's house to meet up with the rest of the gang. I was a hippie, Bethany was white trash (she wore a white trash bag and wrote "white trash" on the front, lol), and everyone else was dressed like the 80's.
We went to the party for a while and had a blast. Then we headed home. Bethany, Suzie, and I hung out at Suz's house for a while. Then eventually I left and went to Missy's house for the night.
Sunday we went to church, and it was great to see everyone. After that we had to pack up and head out.
The weekend was awesome. The only complaint I had was not getting to see my best friend Jay, who I've seen pretty much every time I've gone up since I moved. But it was still an amazing weekend, and I'm really glad we went up.

Busy busy...

So school and everything is pretty hectic right now.
Not bad though, just busy. The fall play is in less than two weeks, aahh!! That's getting a little stressful, but it's still really fun.
This weekend was pretty busy. Friday I went trick-or-treating for Unicef for Key Club. It was pretty fun. I had to be home pretty early though because I had SATs the next day.
So Saturday morning I got up early to go to Princeton and take the SAT. It was LONG! I had already taken it before, but I wanted to take it again to see if my score went up at all. I guess I'll find out in a few weeks.
After that I went with my family to Jasper to look at a car. I was so out if it though, the SAT completely exhausted me. After we got back I went and spent the night at Cat's house, we just sat around being lazy and watching t.v., and it was great :) lol
Yesterday I went to church, then I went home and took a nap which was amazing, because I never take time to take naps. Then my family and I went and got McDonald's and ate at Hornady Park. Then I went to youth group.
So that pretty much sums up my weekend. This week is going to be pretty busy. Tonight I have play practice, but I'm going to be a little late because we have our soccer banquet.
Then we have practice again tomorrow and Thursday.
This coming weekend is going to be great though! We are going up north where I used to live, and I get to see a bunch of my friends. My friend Bailey is having a Halloween Dance Party, and I'm going with some of my friends that I haven't seen for about 2 years. I can't wait!
I guess that's all for now. I will try to write again soon, probably next week I'll tell about my weekend again. Later :)

Macbeth

On Friday we went to see the play Macbeth at IRT in Indianapolis.
I really enjoyed it. They did a really good job producing the play. The actors and actresses put so much emotion into it. The middle-age witch was almost too good, she was pretty creepy sometimes. At times it was hard to understand what was going on because Shakespeare's language is so different from ours, but they did a pretty good job acting everything out so we knew what was going on without them having to outright tell us.

So yah....

Today is a PBA day first of all, woohoo!
That being said, this week is actually going pretty fast. A little crazy and busy, but still good.
Our soccer game got cancelled yesterday, but I think lots of us were relieved because lots of the girls are sick or just tired, and it was nice to have a night at home.
Today we have practice, and then tomorrow the team is going to Mr. Gatti's for dinner, it's going to be really fun :)
We may be starting play practice this week. I'm really excited but a bit nervous. Mr. Hays asked me to be stage manager, which apparently can be really stressful. But it will still be really fun. It's my first time being involved in the fall play so I'm excited.
This weekend is going to be really fun. Friday is senior night at the football game. Then Saturday I am going to Holiday World with Brittney and Fia. I haven't been there for over a year, so I can't wait.
Well I guess that's about it.....until the next blog :) God bless
